Abdu Rahamani

Abdu Rahamani was a Sokoto Scholar and politician who was a member of the Northern regional House of Assembly in the 1950s. He also represented North West Sokoto in the House of Representatives.

Rahamanu was born to the royal family of Muhammadu Maiturare and he was a brother in law of Usman Dan Abdullahi, Emir of Kano. He attended Godobawa Elementary School and later became the district head of Godobawa. In 1956, he went on a pilgrimage to Mecca and also visited Medina.

He held the title of Sarkin Gobir of Gwadaba.
