Abdul Maliki was Nigeria's former High Commissioner to Britain during the early 1960s. Prior to becoming the federal high commissioner, he was the Northern Nigeria representative in London.
Maliki was born to a royal household in 1914. His father was once the Atta of Igbirra. He attended Okene Elementary School, Bida Primary School, and the Katsina Training College. He then worked for a few years at Okene Middle School, his alma mater before joining the native administration as a supervisor of works in 1936, three years later, he was a provincial clerk. From there on, he became the chairman of the Okene Town Council.
In the 1960s, he was Nigeria's ambassador in London and then in Paris.
