Christopher Komolafe

Christopher OIudare Komolafe was a former principal of Ilesha Grammar School. He was also a member of the Nigerian House of Representatives during the independence period and was a member of the Western Working Committee of the National Convention of Nigerian Citizens.

Komolafe ws born on May 19, 1916 to Abraham Oladapo Komolafe. He went to St John's Primary School School, Ilora, St Andrew's College, Oyo and the Fourah Bay College in Freetown. He taught as a teacher at St Stephen's Modakeke and C.M.S. Grammar School, Freetown before his stint at the Ilesha Grammar School.

During the first republic, he was a board member of the Western Nigeria Development Corporation and was also a minister of state in the Ministry of Natural Resources.
