Daniel Akinbiyi (1898) was a titled Ibadan chief who later became the city's titled ruler as the Olubadan of Ibadan during the 1970s. He was also a member of the Nigerian House of Representatives in 1952.
Akinbiyi attended Wesley College and after completing his studies, he became a teacher in 1918. However, he left the profession and worked with the Nigerian Railway Service as a transport clerk and was there from 1919 to 1925. In 1936, he joined the political affairs of Ibadan as a councillor in the Ibadan District Council. He was later elected into the Western House of Assembly in 1952.
