Emman Awduche

Emman Obiora Awduche is a Nigerian medical doctor and politician who represented a district in Onitsha at the Federal House of Representatives in the 1950s. He later left his original party, NCNC and moved to the Action Group where he became the party's Vice President.

Life

He was born on September 20, 1919 to Meshack Onwugbufo. He attended St Cyprian's School, Port Harcourt, Dennis Memorial Grammar School, Onitsha and then King's College, Lagos. He then went on to study medicine at the Yaba Higher College and the Nigerian School of Medicine. He started his career as an assistant medical officer and later left for private practice. He established his practice in Onitsha and Owerri in 1948.
