Emmanuel Chukwuma Emekekwue is a Nigerian physician and politician who was a member of the Nigerian House of Representatives from the district of Onitsha South during the country's second republic. At the assembly, he was chairman of the House Committee on Education that among other matters looked into the examination leakages, academic strikes and the plight of Nigerian students overseas.
A doctor by training and an obstetrician by specialization, he was educated at CMS schools in Oba and Onitsha before attending Dennis Memorial Grammar School, Onitsha and the University of Dublin. He also went to the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. At various points in time, he worked for the Nigerian Railway Corporation, the East Central State Government and served as deputy chairman of the Onitsha Local Government in the 1970s.
