Isa, Sarkin Agwara

Mallam Isa, the Sarkin Agwara was a Nigerian community leader and district head of Agwara. During the first republic, he was a member of the Nigerian House of Representatives.

He was born on July 25, 1911 to Malam Jibrin. Isa started hus education at a senior primary school in Birnin Kebbi and later joined the staff of the Bussa Native Authority. He served in various positions with the authority including acting as the assistant treasurer, tax scribe and court scribe. He left the N/A in 1945 to become the district head of Bussa.
