Jackson Aleruchi

Jackson Aleruchi was a member of the Nigerian House of Representatives for Ikwerre district during Nigeria's pre-liberation period. He also served as the president of the Ikwerre Union, Ikwerre State Assembly and the Ikwerre Native Authority Council in the 1950s.

Aleruchi was born on September 24, 1910. He was educated at St Peter's Isiokpo and Bennett College, Sheffield, England. He was prominent in Ikwerre politics at the onset of the democratization of governance in the country, serving as the president of the local branch of National Council of Nigeria and the Cameroons.
