Omolade Adejuyigbe

Omolade Adejuyigbe was a Nigerian geographer who was a professor of Geography at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. He is the author of the book titled: 'Boundary Problems in Western Nigeria', the book tries to analyze the issue of internal boundaries within a colonial created territory. During the 1970s, he wrote on issues bordering state creation in Nigeria.

Adejuyigbe was born in Akure, Ondo State, He attended St Thomas's Anglican Primary School, Isinkan and later went to Oyemekun Grammar School. He also attended the Nigerian College of Arts, Science and Technology, Ibadan, University of Reading and the University of Durham. He joined the staff of OAU, ife as a lecturer in 1967 and became a professor in 1977, two years later he was appointed the dean of the OAU Faculty of Social Sciences.
