Sa'adu Alanamu

Sa'adu Alanamu is a Nigerian politician from Kwara State who was a member of the Northern House of Assembly during the nation's pre-independence period. He was also a prominent member of the local NPC branch in Ilorin during the period


Sa'adu was born in 1912 to Balogun Alanamu, one of the head of the four quarters in Ilorin then. He went to Elementary and Primary Schools in Ilorin and later attended Katsina Training College. In 1933, he became the secretary of the Ilorin Native Authority.

In 1960, he became the agent of the Northern Nigeria region in London. He was conferred with the title of Waziri of Ilorin in November, 1979.
