Umaru Gumel

Umaru Gumel was a Nigerian politician and trained pharmacist who was a member of the Nigerian House of Representatives for Kano East during the nation's independence period. He later was made a commissioner in the Government of Kano State during the advent of military rule.

Gumel attended the School of Pharmacy in Zaria and worked with the Kano Native Authority as an analyst.
