Abdu Anace (1918) is a Nigerian politician who was a member of the House of Representatives during the nation's pre-independence period. He represented the Kontagora district under the Northern People's Congress. He also held the title of Magajin Gari of Kontagora and was the son of Umaru Maidubu, who was Emir of Kontagora.

Life

Abdu attended Kontagora Elementary School from 1929-1933. He then went to Niger Middle School, Bida and Kaduna College. He later joined the staff of the Kontagora Native Authority as a secretary before becoming the manager of schools. In 1947, he became a councillor in charge of Local Govenment and later joined the Northern House of Assembly as a member representing Kontagora.
