Bello Malabu

Bello Malabu was a Nigerian politician and diplomat from Adamawa who was a provincial representative of the NPC for Adamwa province.


He was born on May 12, 1913 to Muhammadu Malabu and was educated at Yola Middle School, Katsina Teachers Training College, and the Provincial School, Yola. He later taught at the Yola Middle School from 1933-1948. In 1949, he became a lecturer with the School of Oriental and African Studies, London and left the school a few years later. He was then a member of the Nigerian House of Representatives, a board member of the Nigerian Ports Authority and a member of the Northern House of Assembly.

In the 1960s, he was an ambassador to Cameroon, during the presidency of Ahmadou Ahidjo and later to Saudi Arabia.
