Dayo Lawuyi is a company executive and chairman of Dunlop Nigeria. He is also a member of Business Club, Ikeja and as served as president of the Nigeria Employers Consultative Association and as chairman of DN Meyer Nigeria Plc.

He became managing director of Dunlop in 1991, prior to becoming MD, he had worked as an accountant and company executive since 1970, serving as a management consultant with Cooper and Lybrand, finance director with Hagemeyer and director of consumer and industrial products with Dunlop Nigeria. In 1989, he became the deputy MD of Dunlop. Lawuyi as the director of consumer products was in charge of the non tyre business of the firm. As managing director of Dunlop, he was involved in the reduction of the company's prior debt, introduction of a brand of tyres called Dunlop elite and diversification of the firms business focus into other areas such as Rubber with the purchase of Pamol Nigeria Ltd and paints with the purchase of Hagemeyer.
