Jonah Eze Adiele is a Nigerian politician from the city of Aba, who was a member of the Eastern Nigeria House of Assembly in 1962 after the nation's independence.
Jonah Adiele was born to the family of Mr and Mrs Adiele Nwoba. He went to the Government School, Aba (1927-1936) and the University College, Ibadan, where he obtained a diploma in local government. He started work as a clerk with the French firm, C.F.A.O (1937). He rose in the firm to the position of an accountant by 1954. During the 1950s, he stepped up his involvement in local matters concerning the Aba district, Eastern Nigeria. He was a member and chairman of the Asa Clan Council and the Rural District Council.
In 1962, he contested and won a seat to the Eastern House of Assembly under the National Council of Nigeria and the Cameroons.
