Moses Aransiola Onilearan Olarewaju was born in [[Omu-Aran] the Head Quarters of the present Irepodun Local Government of Kwara state in 1916. He was a member of the federal parliament during the first republic. He represented Ilorin South in the House. He also held the title of Sarkin Daji of Ilorin and the Obanla of Omu-Aran. In the early 1960s, he was appointed the minister for police affairs.

Olarewaju was educated at a native authority school in Omu-Aran, he later worked as a forest ranger in Ilorin before becoming a parliamentarian. He was a member of the NPC executive committee representing Ilorin province. He died on September 29,1968
