Chief Samuel Oluremi Oke (born in Lagos on July 14th 1925 and died 2005) was a Permanent secretary for Agriculture in Nigeria. He attended Ibadan Grammar School, University of Ibadan and University of Reading, UK for his Bachelors and Master's degrees. He married Elizabeth Foluso Adeogba and they had four children (Dr. Olufemi Oke, Dr. Adebayo Oke, Barrister Folashade Ekundare (nee Oke) and Mr. Olushola Oke (deceased). He was the patriach (Baba Ijo) of Christ Anglican Church, Agege.
