Muyiwa Falaiye is professor of philosophy at the University of Lagos. He is the author of a few books on African philosophy and serves on the board of the African Social Studies Series.
Muyiwa Falaiye was born in Lagos in 1962. He attended Igbobi College, Lagos, C.M.S. Grammar School, Lagos and the University of Lagos. He was a visitng Scholar at Yale and Florida Universities. He was a visiting Researcher at the School of Oriental and African Studies, London and a Visiting Senior Lecturer at the University of Cape Coast, Ghana. He is on the editorial board of several local and international journals.
