Olusegun Ladimeji Oke is a Nigerian scholar and chemist who served as the pioneer vice chancellor of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso. Prior to becoming V.C., he was a professor at Obafemi Awolowo University where he served the OAU Faculty of Science as dean between 1981 and 1983.

Oke was educated at C.M.S. Grammar School, Lagos (1947-1953) before atttending the Ibadan branch of the Nigerian College of Arts, Science and Technology, University of Ibadan and University of Reading.

He is the author of 'Nutrition for Nurses' published under Longmans, Nigeria in 1984 and vice president of the Nigerian Academy of Science in which capacity he criticized Jeremiah Abalaka's laboratory facilities and inadequacy to provide any cure for the HIV virus. He is also a member of President Obasanjo created national initiative on cassava production and processing.
